: I have recently installed the above card, and the Finder is not showing
: my second hard drive partition. In it's place is the RamFast peripheral
: card icon. The second partition is fine, and it appears when I use the
: Apple SCSI card. Does anyone know what is going on? I have no idea
: what the 8 DIP switches are for, and I do not know how to use the
: built-in firmware on the RamFast. Thanks for any help.
Turn your computer off. While holding down the 0 key, turn your computer
on. You will be taken into the Ramfast Utils. Select the Options menu
from the menu bar. Then turn Romdisk off. Do this only after you copy
the driver and util program from the romdisk to your hard drive.
You need to map a boot partition and another partition into the partition
map, but you can leave all the other slot, drive combinations blank. This
seems to work best for me. Hope this helps
