If you only need to replace the drive inside the case, just do that.  I 
opened my Shadow 52 about 3 months ago and put in a new Quantum SCSI-II 
340 meg drive, hooked it up, and I'm runnin strong, still with the Shadow 
case.  Works Great!  (It was pretty cheap, too!)
