It seems to be a remarkably solid product. I have heard no reports of
major bugs at all. Whether it is worth the price depends on your needs. If
you haven't seen a list of new features yet, I recommend that you call
Quality and ask them to send you a copy of their "Nothing But Apples"
catalog.
I have used AppleWorks since version 1, and I have already bought the
version 5 upgrade. I think it is worth getting.
