Re: AAAAAUGH! ][e went nuts! Help!

Well, before I got around to re-seating chips, the machine began behaving
again. But I did go around and re-seat chips. I didn't worry about
boards, since I bump those periodically anyway. But usually, when I start
to have trouble, I begin by bumping all the boards and putting them back
in one at a time...first the 80-column board...then the disk
controller...then the printer...then the SSC...Well, you get the idea.

My biggest question is this--
Can anyone interpret the self-test message: "ROM:E10"? My guess, since
there is no "E10 ROM" on the motherboard, is that it refers to the EF Rom
loacted at loaction (you guessed it) E-10. Am I right? Or is this code
meaningless? Remember: this is an UNenhanced ][e, so I'm looking for
"KERNEL OK" not "System OK".

Thanks everyone for your assistance!
