It isn't as simple as a simple word of a video card. Somebody is going to
have to rewrite the graphics engine from scratch and to NOT do any realtime
calculations. The problem doesn't lie in the graphics capabilities with
Doom. It's more of raw CPU power.
If it was just graphics, Doom wouldn't slow down on a 486/66 running it in
single player mode, modem play, or LAN play.
