It works with more cards than just the RamFactor.  The manual lists
about 8 or 10 with which it was tested.  I've used it with the standard
Apple IIgs 1Meg memory card, AE GSRam+, and the GSJuice+.  Although
the Ramkeeper can take two memory cards, there is some sort of
incompatibility when using the GSJuice+ and the Apple 1Meg card.

If the IIgs is powered up, power is taken from the motherboard.  When it
is shut down, power is taken from a mains transformer.  If mains power
fails, power is taken from one or more gel-cell batteries.  The amount of
time the battery lasts is dependant on how much memory you have, but I
think it can last up to 3 hours.
