Wow! This has been happening to me, too. It is not a "feature", but
appears to be a defect. I've sent 4 cards back to Soquential with this
problem. Fortunately, when I bought the RamFast, I got two of them. One
has worked flawlessly since day one. On the other one (and the
replacements) I have had the failure to boot problem. Once I had to turn
the computer off and on 6 times in order to get a boot. Sometimes it
gets to the boot screen and than hangs with the thermometer only halfway
filled. Another persistent symptom is hanging when I get into
RAMFAST.SYSTEM and try to access the SCSI utilities.
I would like to add that Sequential and Jawaid have been very helpful,
and since I have one that works, I know what a great product it is. I
just want to get another one that works properly. I'm struggling along
with an old Rev.C SCSI card in the office computer while I wait for my
fifth replacement to come (fingers crossed).
Is anybody else having the same symptoms?
