//c and HP printer, the sequel

Ok...I've found a machine for sale but can anyone
tell me if this one will work for me?

---fwd---
I have the RS2riginal HP laserjet (model # HP 2686A) for sale.
It has the following specs:
  300 x 300 DPI
support graphics (for intensive graphics need to add more memory)

According to the manual, this printer will work with Apple IIe (what is the
difference between IIe and IIc? ). But, you need
to have the Apple Super Serial Card (Apple A2B0044) on your Apple II system.
You also need the male-to-male standard RS-232C cable (I have the male-to-
female cable which is used for an IBM AT computer). The cable is available
at RadioShacks store. I am not sure about the Apple Serial Card. The manual
also indicates that the printer can be used with Apple III system as well.
The manual has intructions on how to configure the printer with various
computer system.
---end---

Comments? Compatible for Appleworks?
