FWIW, I have almost the exact same set up as you, but when I launch
my GSOS stub from PROSEL 8, I go to PROSEL 16, which in turn has
a "finder" selection. I have found no problems so far that I
can attribute to this setup.

I find that at least 1/2 the times I turn on my computer, it is
only to run Appleworks, and since I have a _very slow_ Hard Drive,
it certainly doesn't pay to boot all the way through GSOS.
