I don't know how standardised the CND (Caller Number Delivery) command
sets are.  My ZyXEL modem uses some S-register bits to enable
detection and display of the caller ID information, and to specify
which format it appears in (text or hexadecimal).  There is also a
command to display the last received Caller ID information.

I cannot use any of these, since we don't have caller ID faciliaties
in New Zealand.  When we get them, I'll be surprised if they are
compatible with the US method.
