Re: ADT for GS serial ports?
Jayson -
It actually matters exactly where you downloaded the latest ADT from.
There are two distributions - one, hosted on Berlios.de, has the
complete original Windows executable server coupled with the latest
ADT client at version 1.33. The defaults for that version is to run
at 19200 baud out of the box, matching client and server. The ADT
client auto-senses where slot the Super Serial card is in. On the GS,
it senses that too and so configures itself to the GS modem port.
The other distribution comes from the ADTPro project hosted on
Sourceforge.net. That one also at version 1.33, but is set up to work
with ADTPro at 115200 baud by default, matching the ADTPro server's
default baud rate out of the box. The rest of the client behavior is
the same - auto-sensing the communications port.
The keystrokes should be exactly the same between the latest ADT and
the earlier versions. R to receive or S to send, type in the file
name, hit Enter to contact the host. The Escape key will abort the
attempt with the AppleWorks-inspired beep.
