I hate unrepeatable problems. I just tried again, and my system
is acting just fine. About the only difference between things
now and yesterday is that my room's a little warmer (had the AC
on full blast most of yesterday). Thanks to everyone who bothered;
it seems as if it was the wrong time of the month for the system,
the wall was putting out a different flavor of AC than usual, or
something untraceable.
This has sorta prompted an immediate backup of source code and all,
at least :)
