Actually, no. On my unaccellerated IIGS, Kermit has no difficulty keeping
up with 38400 baud. (It dropped characters like crazy at 57600, though.)
Of course, I did have to write a seperate program to set the port speed to
38400, since Kermit's "set baud" command maxes out at 19200...
