Fine. Let us just take this as what you were trying to say all along. But,
the problem is that you haven't proved that you need a fast computer to do
serious applications.
DTP you said previously. Well the level available in AWGS is pretty decent.
Not PM 5 level but pretty good back when it was written and you don't need
33+ mhz to do it. Just well programmed code. In fact, AWGS and AW 4 pretty
much cover the majority of serious applications people use. WP, DB, and SS.
Only thing that's different is the number of superfluorous features.
CAD you said; well, why would I do CAD on the GS? What would I use it for?
Sure Animasia imports and uses such things but what would you use it for?
In fact, I haven't really seen anybody I know, including PC people with
their 486DX2 66's doing any sort of CAD. I don't remember Microsoft or IBM
advertising that you should buy a PC because you can do CAD. None at all.
The MAJORITY of serious applications being used on any computer these days
are games, word processing, database, and spreadsheet, from the common
user's level. There's nothing here that a Apple II with the SS can't do
nor improve upon.
Multimedia. There's a catchword that is being used to sell computers now.
Apple II's can use cd-roms, view pictures, listen to music (with proper
software), and whatever everybody else is doing. This is a serious and
common application.
So please, name something, some serious COMMON application, that an Apple II
with an SS cannot do nor attempt at.

He did. He noted the specific points where you were wrong as many other
people have done.

People would have received your constructive critism with a better grain of
salt if you had your facts straight to begin with. The mistakes basically
made you sound like you were flaming Jawaid and Co. for making the card, and
destroyed your argument about the viability of the product.
