This is just alot of hostility between two potentially abrasive
people that, while beginning on IRC, has now spilled over into the UseNET
world. As a user of IRC, I'd like to point out that #appleIIgs is _not_
filled with sexual harassment, racial slurs, or anything else that you
may have heard. It's by no means a Utopia; it's pretty much like the real
world - people say things, people take offense. But don't get the
impression that we're all "a bunch of racist mysogynist immature bastards"
simply from the misguided opinions of a few. Chances are, if you are
a IIgs user, and you don't act in a generally annoying manner (yes, I
realize this is a loose term..), you will be welcomed by an enthusiastic
comunity of IIgs users and programmers.

I want to see GS/TCP and TMTerm 2.0 and other GNO-related
products as much as everyone else. But I'd also like to see a powerful
video board that will open up a broad range of possibilities to all
GS users. If this means that Jawaid has to put GNO on hold for a few
months, so be it. I'm sure Jawaid understands these issues better
than any of us, since he's the one that they revolve around. From
what I understand, it's a rather small modification to the kernel,
but discussions like that are why comp.sys.apple2.gno was created. Let's
see if we can keep it there.
