Hi,
	My HD is starting to make these slightly loud grinding/
spinning noises.  To say I'm starting to get worried is a slight
understatement.  Would this be a good time to start looking for a new
HD?  Does anyone have any tips for extending the lifespan of my HD?

ps:  Would the fact that my HD went home to Malaysia this summer and
went thru about 7 x-ray machines at various airports have an effect on
my HD....? 8-)  I did it two years ago too and had a bunch of weird
problems which slowly went away - I'm having a bunch of weird problems
with my HD right now too...  coincidence?
