What is this card?
I just picked up an Apple ][+ from a thrift store- At least I'm pretty
sure its an Apple ][+ : It runs native applesoft, but it has a caps
lock key that switches the keyboard to lowercase, which I've never
seen.
My question: It has a card plugged into a peripheral slot that I don't
recognize. It has a Motorola processor MC6845P on it, and three chips
prominently labeled ROM-I, ROM-II, and ROM-III. It also has a
component labeled 14.318 Mhz KAI. There is 4-pin in-line connector in
the upper forward corner. There are a lot of other chips, but I
couldn't tell you what they are.
When I redirect output with the PR# command, the computer behaves
normally (I can execute commands), but there is no text output on the
screen.
Does anyone know what this card may be?
Thanks in advance,
