Under ProDOS-8, yes, but not under GS/OS (limited by the number of
devices each driver supports, and by available memory).

ProDOS-8 is limited to 14 devices (13 once you remove the 64k /RAM
volume).

At times, I've had up to 16 volumes online at once in GS/OS (some were
unavailable in ProDOS-8).  Once I've borrowed a CD-ROM drive from a
friend, I'll be able to get about 20 volumes online at once (my Finder
desktop will be a little cluttered!) :-)
