I called HP to ask about this, because I got a 550C 2 months ago.
There is no upgrade from the 550C to the 560C. The logic card is
different, and so is the hardware. To help reduce the fuzzy ink dots
around typed characters, they said the ink cartridge-to-paper distance
has been reduced a bit.
Note that the 600x300 resolution is for black only. Color is still
300x300!
