I had that same problem. First I formated with the RamFast and then move it
a IIe with a High Speed Card. All ID were filled up (6 to 0). I just reformated
the drive under and the those duplicates ID were erase. I figured it was due
to the RamFast configuration table.

Try doing a low level formating. If you don't know you have to go to
the partition software using the HS Utilities. Partition and select yes and
the software will as you if you want to do a low level format. You can figure
out the rest :)
