Dead Harddrive?
ok ive seen almost all of the recent posts on some dead harddrives...
i have searched my harddrive up and down for a fuse... i didnt see one
heres the harddrive i have
MiniScribe (ya i know its old)
Model B425SA
HDA 06
PCBA 03
UNIQUE 07
Now thats what was on the sticker on the side of the drive
on the CHIP its said to be
Model AXX
PCBA 03C
E-P 3.3A
this puppy is very old.. its a 20 meg harddrive with an interrupter on it
ok now that i got thru the technical stuff, heres what it does :>
oh btw, im using a Apple Highspeed SCSI
When put on the card, and tried to access the drive, it shows EVERY id filled
when this harddrive is connected.... it even shows every i'd even with no
jumpers in place, or even with jumpers in place....
i have no problems with the snailgate drive i have connected, it seems that
this drive is the only one i have problems with... please if anyone has any
ideas on what might have happend to this drive, let me know, it was my backup
drive, and now im stranded... thanks in advance..
