There is not, gzip has not been ported. It will probably be ported when
C 2.0.2 is there, I gave up on it with 2.0.1 because of ... well, you guess it.

Yes, certainly. Have him add the gzip package. You can then put it into say
compress format.
Note: GSHK doesn't always handle compress (.Z) right ... but you can also
plain zip files on a Unix machine, or zoo them, or lha them ....
