It's not a bug! It's the best feature!! After I figured that one
out, it became almost my favorite game!

No, you can only "borrow" either half or double (I forget which) what
you have cash on hand. And you have to be in Hong Kong. Plus when he
wants $$ for the Sea Goddess or whatever, make sure you don't have any
cash. It will come out of the "debt."
