Wanted:Terminal Software

I have a friend with an apple II who wants to get on-line.  He got himself
a modem, but doesn't have any software to drive it.  As a MacHead myself, 
I don't know what's available for Apple II's.  

What is a good terminal package?  Are there any share/freeware terminals 
out there, and if so, are they available by FTP??

Any help you can give us will be MUCH appreciated!!
