The first thing you'll need is more memory.  GSOS 6.0 requires at least 2 or
2.5Megs.  BTW, Apple disks are 800k, not 720k.

You can't put much on a floppy with even the minimum 6.0 required files. 
However, you could delete the finder (called 'start') and put quite a bit
of stuff on the disk.  If you do this, GSOS brings up a simple application
launcher from which you can run Appleworks GS or just about anything else.
