GS Question #2: Keyboards

I bought a GS with a moderately broken keyboard (see previous post).
It looks like it was dropped on the bottom left corner. The caps
lock key is missing, and the Shift and Option keys were not working
until I took off the keycaps and squirted some contact cleaner in the
switch.
I know that Mac ADB keyboards are compatible with the GS, but have
also heard that some aren't. Which keyboards are OK to buy, and
which should I avoid?
What about third-party keyboards? Are there any? Are they good?
Less expensive?
How difficult would it be to repair this one? I'm not an electronics
whiz, but I have used a soldering iron before. Who would carry the
keyswitches and possibly keycaps? What are the most common mistakes
I might make, so I can avoid them?
If I choose to replace rather than repair, where should I start
looking? What retailers have the best prices and reasonable service?
If I buy a used keyboard from a private party ad, what should I be
looking for? In other words, what usually goes bad on a keyboard that
I can check for easily so I don't get "taken"?
What is a reasonable price for a keyboard? A good price?
Do any of you have one for sale? Price?
Thanks in advance.
