It's good will. Software publishers put out demos, Joe Kohn puts out-
a sample issue of SSII. Look at it this way- it's MUCH cheaper to put
one (just one, we're not asking you to give away every issue) on the
onlines - and have it quickly spear throughout the known Apple II
universe - than to US Mail samples to everyone in the Apple II universe.
It's virtually free advertising - all you have to do is put appropriate
disclaimers/and or copyright notices on the text (in each article)
to remind folks that it's a copyrighted work.
Tis better to give one away (and Internet press releases very often end
up in usergroup newsletters) and have lots of people see it than to have
nobody see it.
