  Because Apple says so. There's a Miscellaneous tech note on the
request that all online services use Binary II encapsulation.

  That should be considered a bug in Nulib. Bug Andy McFadden (or get someone
else to take up where Andy left off). YankIt deals wonderfully with Binary
II files.
