The default cable has Pin3 on the GS end connected to Pin20 on the Scart end. I also tried connecting to PIN12 on the GS to Pin20 on the Scart. I had to use Pin12 on the Samsung T200HD to get the picture to sync properly...if i didn't it would shift every 20 seconds or so slightly then become stable. Using Pin12 it would only shift once when switching resolution.
Results seem to vary all over the place on this issue! My Highway scan converter was happier getting sync from the actual composite sync output of the GS (pin 3) while others are having better success with using composite video (pin 12). Are you saying you connected _both_ of them to SCART pin 20 at the same time? Doesn't sound like a wise idea to have the drivers fighting each other like that.
IIRC, Roger Johnstone's cables come stock with pin 3 --> pin 20. Steve
