Hey, neat!  Error $2D is "illegal block address".  This means that the
PCT hard drive file's index blocks refer to a block number which does
not exist.  This would certainly cause problems within the PC Transporter.

Are you pre-allocating the hard drive, or letting the PC Transporter
allocate space as required?

I've never had any trouble like this.  I have an Apple High-speed SCSI
card and have always pre-allocated the PC Transporter hard drive file.
My hard drive is about 30 megabytes (main file and continuation file
both about 15 megabytes) on a 32 megabyte ProDOS partition.

Never tried either, but I doubt you'd have much luck with the modem.
On my unaccelerated IIgs, ZModem transfers manage about 180 cps at
2400 bps, which means the computer is already having trouble keeping
up with the modem.  When my ZIP was working, I managed to get close to
240 cps.

I don't play games on the PCT.  IIgs (and II) games are a darn sight
better anyway.  :-)
