I see from your earlier posting that you have a ROM 01.

Go into the text-based Control Panel (control-apple-esc) and make sure
you have "Minimum RAM disk size" and "Maximum RAM disk size" set to the
same value. If they aren't, then set them to the same value, exit
from the control panel, and shut down the computer. To make the new
sizing take effect, start a self test (control-apple-option-reset) and
then reboot (control-apple-reset).

If you have different min/max values, /RAM5 is likely to be unreliable,
and will not be recognised by the System 6.0.1 RAM5 driver (which makes
accessing the RAM disk a lot faster). Note that a ROM 03 only has a
single field for setting the RAM disk size - it doesn't provide
separate minimum and maximum options.

If you are still having trouble, try shift-booting. One of your
INITs, etc. may be corrupting memory.

If the problem still occurs, try booting from a freshly created System
6 floppy disk. Your hard drive installation may be corrupted
(especially if you were having memory corruption problems previously).
