Yes, Quality is coming out with AppleWorks 4.0. And next year, AppleWorks GS 2.0
and AppleWorks 5.0. Initially AppleWorks 4.0 is called TheWorks 4.0 which is
an independent update of AppleWorks 3.0, just like TimeOut series but more
integrated, and later Quality bought over the right of both AppleWorks and
AppleWorks GS from Claris.

Quality is going to become Microsoft of Apple II, they now have the best
Apple II magazine (GS+ is GS only) and the best software for Apple II. But it
is good for all of us, IMHO.

You can get the complete list of enhancements on AppleWorks 4.0 in this issue
of II Alive. The feature list is impressive enough for a major upgrade.

But for me, I will go for the AppleWorks GS 2.0, no matter the price.
