If it's SCSI, it should work.  You may need a driver to take advantage
of features like removability....

The 21 Meg floptical drives use special disks that look like normal
3.5 floppy disks.  The read/write head on the floptical drive is
magnetic, but it uses a laser to track.  This results in more accurate
tracking, and the drive can pack more tracks on the same amount of
surface area.
