I don't have access to appletalk, except through the crappy, slow macs in
the school computer lab, so I'm not all too familiar with this.

Err, by file-sharing software, you _are_ referring to AppleTalk, right?

Well, anyways, does this file-sharing software write to YOUR disk the
same time it's writing from whatever server it's hooked up to? Simulatneous
writes to two devices?
