After reading your letter I thought that I'd mention what you probably do
not wish to hear - that you may have to reformat your hard drive.  The
reason I say this is because some password protection programs actually
change the driver for the hard disk.  "Silent Knight" (or is it "Silver
Knight"?) for the Mac does this to everyone's chagrin.  When Apple went
from System 6 to System 7, no one could get into their computers because
the software wasn't compatible.  Needless to say - no one uses the software
anymore. ;)

At any rate, if this is the problem, then you will have to take everything
off of the hard drive, reformat it, and then re-install it.  Since you can
still access the software through ProSel though, all you might have to do
is to re-install the System software.  Have you tried this?
