What's wrong with Conner? I have a CP-340 plugged into my Apple that
works well enough...it's a relatively old model, so it's not
particularly fast by today's standards (28 ms), but it's fast enough
for the Apple and it's quiet (you can only barely hear head movement,
and only if your ears are turned in just the right direction). I've
never had any stiction problems with it, either. By comparison, the
ST-1144A in my 386 is a bit faster and bigger, but it's also a noisy
sumbitch when the heads start thrashing around. (It was a good deal
when I bought it, though...picked it up used for $200 in March '92,
while the CP-340 was about $180 used about a year or so before that.)
