One thing I did when I needed to move a lot of files from an Apple IIc to
a PC was to install a host program on the PC (such as ProComm Plus test
drive) and set the the PC in host mode to receive incoming calls through
a direct connection. Next I set up my Apple IIc with communications
software and connected it to the PC going through a "null modem" which
cost me between $5 and $10. Then I uploaded all the files I wanted to
keep to the PC. I even uploaded some BASIC programs and wrote PC software
to decode them into text files.

Whoever had the PC software to read the Mac disks, please send me the
software title and how and where to get it. (ftp? mail order? etc.)
Please e-mail me on this one as I seldom read this newsgroup.
