Re: Apple III developers - Was there ever such a thing?
The other question I had was the ability of the Apple III expansion
card to acquire the bus from the main processor. I have the 65C816
Carte Blanche Accelerator card working fine (ie - I have a small loop
executing instructions at 14MHZ between the 65C816 and the FPGA), but
I just need to clarify how the Apple III allows an external card to
execute main board cycles from the slot. Im assuming it is similar to
the AII at the moment.
Anyway, its just preliminary - getting the structure all working fine
so whatever code we use (software/firmware/Verilog/VHDL) will be able
to operate correctly.
Here's a piccy of how it looks.
