Unfortunately, that shows only the top. I still have no idea what the configuration is underneath where the leads attach.

I understand that the little tin leads are soldered to pads, but I'd like to know what plane these pads are in. Are they parallel to the top of the socket or 90-degrees to it?

If you know Jeri personally, would you mind asking her if she can shed light on this?
