Ug, that's not a good sign re: being able to open the Zip files but not extract anything from then.

Would you be able to download any 2image archive to see if that unzips correctly?

I've zipped all the archives using StuffIt Standard v9.01 on MacOS X 10.4.11 and they should be stripped of any Mac specific icons or resources. When I downloaded the ROM01 image, it unzipped correctly. What program are you using the unzip archives?

I just downloaded the Cinemaware and Sierra demo 2IMG disk images and
the either Windows XP's unzip or WinRAR (I'm not sure which did the job
but it was probably WinRAR) had problems. I was told the Sierra zip
file was corrupt and it couldn't be unzipped and the Cinemaware zip
uncompressed without errors but the disk image wouldn't boot and booting
a hard drive image with that image in slot 5, drive 1, I got the dialog
saying it didn't recognize the file system and asking if I wanted to
initialize it. One other thing to mention, the file I got from
unzipping the Cinemaware zip file didn't have a file extension so I
assumed it was a 2IMG file and added the ".2MG" myself.

I'd never even heard of these two demo disks so I'm really curious as to
what they are like.

Hmmm...I probably won't be able to look at the .zip archive issue until the weekend. Apologies to all. If you're interested in a program, do try to download it and report back to this thread with what happened.

I just had a quick download of the Cinemaware Demo and it downloaded and unzipped fine. Worked fine with Bernie ][ to the Rescue running in Classic on MacOS X 10.4.11. Whatever you're using, note which operating system, browser and which program you use to unzip. Try as many different combinations of these as you can.

Is anyone else using a Mac with Bernie or Sweet 16? If it works for you as well, it's beginning to look like some resource fork crap might be making WinRAR think the archives are corrupt. What a joy it will be to re-zip each archive and copy them into their respective folders, and upload them as well :-)
