Have you thought of a common-bas configuration, because the source impedance is
low and the ouput impedance is high?
I did. Back in the 80's when I had designed a few commercial video circuits :) 
It's good for the input when it terminates the cable. Not good at all
to feed the cable, but I guess we are getting too far off-topic.
