Apparently, a lot of people replace their power supplies hoping to fix instabilities or other problems, or just to upgrade, but for an Apple II (or several) they are perfectly functional. -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers! Where I am there are no thrift stores that carry anything like that....
All the older AT supplies have switches. Thrift stores tend to have what people clean out of their closets, so not so many ATX supplies-- yet. ;-) Another good way to go is to remove the supply from an old computer that is headed for recycling (you know, the two you have in your garage that you will never power up again ;-). -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
