So I guess that means if I can get a hold of the chips, I can upgrade it to the later version. Any info on that? I mean, how hard is it to get those chips now? Is it worth it? How about just swapping the cpu to a 65c02, any benefits in that? Just curious mostly. So far it's been pretty cool to mess with.If you can find a //e enhancement kit, it contains everything you need (i.e. 65C02 and updated ROMs) - however, these are pretty hard to come by these days. They do occasionally appear on eBay though.
But be careful--a lot of "enhancement kits" are actually "unenhancement kits", since their original owner put the *old* chips back in the box after enhancing their system. -michael NadaPong: Network game demo for Apple II computers!
