Yes indeed.  Interesting side note: I re-read the code you posted back
in December '05 from Stephen Thomas (DPLL-type full track read)
recently.  This time, I _understood_ it.  Scary stuff.

Yep--you have to keep an annotated time axis running as you
read the code.  Stephen started using labels that included
cycle counts from the "reference" point.  ;-)

This is the DPLL approach that I used in the NadaNet READPKT
routine, and it inspired Stephen to use it for reading disk data.
