Hello all,
is there some kind of list available of hard disk installable, ProDOS
compatible stuff (apps and/or games) for the 8-bit Apple?
And/or a list of DOS.MASTER compatible DOS 3.3 stuff?
I recently got a CFFA, and to be honest I've, like, totally no idea how
to fill up even 1x 32MB, let alone 4x 32MB. ;-)
As regards Apples, I was exclusively a 5.25" person until recently and
used mostly DOS 3.3, so I've got no knowledge of stuff like program
selectors, useful little utilities for hard disks, applications that
need a large drive to work at all, etc. except for things that make
sense on 5.25" as well.
Also, while I've used ADT for a long time, I've never transferred
file-based stuff back and forth. I could use CiderPress I assume, but
that means hauling the monitor around all the time to get at the CF card
inside the Apple. What do you use for file-based transfers? I took a
look at ProTerm, but their current website (www.intrec.com) doesn't seem
overly functional, all links lead back to index.html.
Thanks for any ideas!
