I just got one of those yesterday! Did you look at the power consumption (not allowing for power factor)? (After all, the Apple II power supply was *way* before power factor correction. ;-) And though the power company loses power at a rate proportional to VA, your air conditioner only sees the actual watts. ;-) -michael NadaNet file server for Apple II computers!
