OK, I found what you were referring to.  The article mentioned a bunch
of files and their locations, but there was only one file that had any
relevance to the appletalk nag screen on the boot up of gs/os which is
located in the drivers folder called SCC MANAGER.  All you have to do
is to set this file to inactive, and the problem disappears.

BUT, This answer doesn't suit me as I know that I didn't have to do
this when I installed system601 once before (To another CF card while
testing --and I can't remember what exactly I did for all the printers
to appear int he direct-connection NDA list) and that system601 could
have come from asimov, a2central, or whatisthe2gs.com website.

In the past week, I have downloaded sys601 from asimov, a2central, and
whatisthe2gs.com.
I only had 7 blanks, so, each time I wanted to try another one out, I
overwrote the disks, initializing first, then unshrink the files to
the diskettes.

I did notice however that one of the versions of the 601 that I
installed had a TWO bowling pin icon for the game "AppleBowl" while
other installations of system 601 --again, and I can't remember which
one produced the disk or DIAMOND or EXECUTABLE ICON with the hand
writing to it or the actual icon bowling pins.

Weird, Bowling pins......but I though that all 601's out there are the
same??? OR are they??

This may have been covered in the past, but if not, maybe I have
uncovered something.
Also, Does anyone know how to install the system601 without having the
following files to get installed in the DRIVERS folder:
-printer
-modem
-atp1.rom
-atp2.ram
-appletalk
-sccmanager
-midi.setup

Those were the files that were different and were installed in the GS/
OS install that I did with the nag screen that shows up without me
choosing to install and of that appletalk/appleshare non-sense. Also,
NETWORK PRINTER in the NDA Control Panel will exist...

Again, as posted before, I did however do an install before, and I
can't remember the steps, and weather it was a "Easy Upgrade" method,
then adding customization, or another way...but whatever that other
way was, all the printers (epson, imagewriter, imagewriter lq,
stylewriter) were installed but didn't have any signs of AppleTalk/
AppleShare.

Oh, one last thing...if I go to installer and try to REMOVE the
network files, After the reset, i will get "Unable to load Prodos"
which then means, "Time to reinstall system601".

Anyone got any ideas on these issues above and my thoughts about
different system601's?  I am truly amazed about some of these
findings......or maybe everything is happening for a reason and I am
just overlooking the reason why icons are different and things install
differently.....
