There were two versons - the 312 and the 327. The former used PALs and
LSTTL logic while the latter used IOU & MMU chips. My 312 had the
following on the motherboard (in a low profile case):
slot 1 parallel printer port
slot 3 2KB static RAM 80 column TEXT & DLORES
programmable sound generator (AY-8912)
separate 90 key keyboard (9 wire serial interface)
total of 24KB ROM (AB ROM in addition to CD & EF)
3 internal slots (4,6,7) Multitech cards (CCG, FDC, Z80)
1 external slot (2) standard Apple cards
I had to modify my unit to make it 128KB compatible. It was missing
the ALTZP softswitch (as it originally only had Aux RAM for 80 cols).
The 327 came with 128KB on the motherboard (neither model has an
actual Aux slot).
