Well, I would be interested in trying to port the game on the Oric, but

But yeah, seriously I would be interested in trying to get a raycaster
engine running on the Oric :)

The biggest part to port would be the rendering routine.  It takes up
the majority of the binary as I unrolled the loops completely to make it
moderately fast.


Sure, same thing on the Oric :)
The hardest part would be to emulate the 40x48 low res mode in 16 colors.
We have a 40x28 TEXT in 8 colors mode on the Oric, but I can probably use my
usual "hires trick" to get something like 37x50 in 16 colors, but it means
that we have two "pixels" in the same character. Would make the display
slower...

Apple lo-res also has two pixels in the same character (vertical
neighbors).
