Ha, maybe things will go south and I can spend time again designing hardware
for the Apple II. I've still got a few projects like my encoder ps/2
keyboard adapter to finish up.


Because I'm too lazy to build my own cabinet, I'm leaning toward scalping a beige IIe and using it to house my Replica 1 SE... I'd like to use the IIe keyboard. Or, if push comes to shove, I could scalp a II Plus... but the IIe is sooo much more plentiful.

But the ][ and ][+ keyboards, with their ASCII outputs, are a much
better match to the Apple I.  The //e keyboard is just a keyswitch
matrix, requiring an encoder on the main board.
